Polyester Express was built as a 9 piece band in the spirit of KC & the Sunshine Band, Chic and other great live shows of the 1970’s. That being said, many of our clients opt for 14, 17 and even 20 piece options that feature larger brass sections and hot fully integrated dancers (cages optional). Sensation DANCEBAND is a five to eight piece ensemble featuring one or two lead vocalists, three instrumentalists/vocalists one to two horns with rhythm section. There’s plenty of action and fun with this group and they keep everyone dancing all night long!
Sensation Show Band is a nine to eleven piece ensemble featuring two lead vocalists, three instrumentalists/vocalists, three to five piece choreographed horns, and full rhythm section. The performers are some of the most talented on the West Coast with many national touring and recording credits. They’re known for wonderful costumes that range from elegant gown and black tie to Swarovski and sequined looks designed specifically to enhance the energy and reflect light throughout the venue. Stellar music production and a naturally interactive style come as a result of years of hard work, attention to detail and experience.
Sensation Show Band - L is a little larger group with a little more action and a little more to catch the eye. It comes as a ten piece band with four dynamically integrated dancers or a twelve piece band and two dancers. Fourteen members strong, this full-scale production is completely customized to your theme and venue.
Sensation Show Band XL is truly an extravaganza. This multi dimensional ensemble features six to seven vocalists, a six to seven piece horn section, two keyboards, electric guitar, bass, drums and our dynamically integrated dance troupe for a total of 17 performers. The musicians are some of the most talented on the West Coast with many national touring and recording credits. Upgraded lighting includes overhead trussing and intelligent illumination for the stage and dance floor! As always, this full-scale production will be completely customized to your theme and venue.
Sensation Rock Orchestra includes everything from our XL show plus a four to eight piece string section. Your event will truly reach rarefied air when your guests dine and dance to a band with real strings! This ensemble features 21 – 32 performers
Sensation Jazz is available with any show. When a more subdued ambience for cocktail hour or during dinner is desired, the classic 5-6 piece combo will set the mood right. Performing ballads, standards and smooth arrangements of a number of pop favorites, the mood will be set as the party begins.
